When I was six years old my Me Ma taught me how to draw. It would be like a cartoon character and she showed me the basics steps to draw the body, hands and feet. Drawing is something I enjoyed doing to whenever I go over to her house. When I was ten my mom bought me a sketch pad along with mechanical pencils to draw in.
During my Junior year of High School my parents encouraged me to look into a Graphic Arts program at Greenville Technical College. I was unsure about this path because I've never designed anything before. I also had no idea how to use Adobe. I started in the fall of 2017 and it wasn't where my heart was at the time. I decided to change my major, but I ended up at a dead end and then made a huge mistake of dropping out of college which lead me to a job that I hated more than anything. One day I hit my breaking point and realized how much I wasted time, energy, and worst of all, myself.
I decided I was going to give the Graphic Arts program another chance and this time go in with an open mind. I've had no experienced with Adobe and was nervous about what I was getting myself in too. As I got further into the class "Computer Graphics" we started working on Illustrator and when I played with that software I knew I made the right choice. I then discovered Procreate. My Nana lend me her iPad that she never used and bought me an Apple Pencil and I was hooked.
